Just swapped the 08 Limited for an 08 Limited EL! The EL only came with 1 aftermarket remote start fob. I still have one OEM fob from the other truck and am wondering how to program it for the new one. I know how to do this on GM vehicles, but not on the Ford. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Figured it out - cycle the key on and off 8 times. THe locks will engage once, then hit either lock or unlock on the fob you want to program.
Now if I could only program the extra remote start fob!
Thanks - but where is the programming/override button? I don't even think the old remote start fob (factory ford one) is compatible with the system on the new truck, which has a new fob for all functions. I think the new one is maybe the silver or Gold version.
Top fob is from the old truck's system. The new truck's fob resembles a stock ford remote fob, with 4 buttons, lock, unlock, panic, start.
Don't take too much of your time for this, I just like playing with new toys!

I love playing with new toys also and I dont consider that wasting my time I just got my Gold system alarm/remote start installed last saturday so this is also a new toy for me.
The three pictures above are the bronze/silver/gold system fobs. I bought the gold and the third fob is what I have.

2007 Expedition Limited White Sand
Hi, I have a 2010 Expedition that came with only 1 remote. No remote start on the vehicle. I would like to have a spare key/remote and I have found them for $50 online. Buy, does anyone know how to program the new remote to match the vehicle?

I also have had an issue where the Expy didn't come with fobs.
It's a 2007 Expedition EL Limited with the power liftgate. We bought the 5-button remotes figuring it just *had* to have the fob-operated liftgate.
I go through the programming procedure fine and all of the buttons operate correctly (door lock/unlock, panic, lift gate glass) *except* the power lift gate. Is there an additional procedure to get the power lift gate working, or is there possibly a fuse or other option that wasn't installed to enable this? The lift gate *does* work with the rear handle as well as the button on the dash.
Hey fellas, I just figured out where to find my keyless entry keypad code for my Expy on this forum, now a question about my key fob.
I have the gold version according to the pics above. I downloaded the PDF instructions for programming it and after a few reads I kind of figured it out except one thing. Where is the override button at?????
My remotes will lock and unlock doors and though I haven't tried it yet, I believe the panic button works. What isn't working is the blue remote start button and the "1" and "2" buttons which I believe are for the memory seats.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
