Gonna get Stage One's,and a tuner

Going to have injectors rebuilt while motor is out. At 220k it's time. So they will go off to Rosewood Diesel for rework. I am going to buy a tuner also. Jim offfers the TS, with PHP tunes.

65 hp daily

The PHP smoke tunes usually dont' smoke any more than the 140hp Extreme tune.

I have Stock, 1200rpm high idle, 35hp tow, 60hp economy, 100hp performance, and 140hp extreme on my PHP chip with Stage I's.

I love it, usually drive around in 100hp setting.

You rolled some coal in your video! I would be very happy with that. I am really more concerned with performance and response. Hopefully I will be on the road next month, and I am really psyched! I would hope this thing will run mint after I finish with it, this truck could last a really long time!
thank you, C

One of these days I'll be getting a PHP chip. I'd have to agree with brownie about the smoke. You're going to make lots with the performance tunes and the stages 1's anyway. This would give you room for a different tune if you're set on having a certain number of options.

On my php i sent it in for a reburn and got rid of the 60 econo. I didn't like that. Mine are like Evans except now I have 25 or 30 tow instead of 35 and i have 60 tow instead of the econo. If you are going to tow much you'll like the 60 tow tune. I like to drive around in the 60 tow tune in my little town, it shifts at higher rpm's and the turbo loudly echoes off the buildings on main street

I will only pull a cattle trailer a couple times a year. The other heavy lifting is just firewood, and some grain, Maybe I'll go with the extreme, instead of smoke... nice for those pesky ricers!

It smokes more with a load on it also. My video there wasn't much smoke because it was just free-revving.

I think you'd be very happy with the 140 tune over the smoke tune.

Lope Idle and Smoke tune don't really do anything with small injectors like Stage-1's. I don't even burn them on Stage-1 chips anymore.

I use 2 tunes: 140 extreme and whisper mode. I have not towed at all this year so I should probably have another lower hp tune, but the truck stays in the 140 setting all the time except at the bank or McD's. Gets same mileage as the smaller tunes, has great throttle manners and plenty of giddy-up.
