Red face 1961 Ford F100 unibody vin decoder

Hi I have a 1961 Ford Unibody pick up and I want to know the factory specs for restoration-

Vin #F10CN240209

F10= 5000# GVW nominal 1/2 ton
C= 292 MD V8 2 Barrel carb
N= Norfolk Virginia (where the truck was assembled)
240209= Born in December 1961. The truck is a 1962 based on this.

Post the remainder of the info on the glove box door's serial number tag. We can decipher the remainder of the things like trim, trans and axle.

The SERIES code of F10 decodes to F100 2WD only.

The VIN's SERIES code has nothing to do with what the GVW is, the MODEL code is the determining factor.

1961/66:

If the MODEL code is F100 or F102 (PA only) = F100 2WD, 5,000 lbs. GVW.

If the MODEL code is F101 = F100 2WD, 4,200 lbs. GVW.

With the lack of additional info all F10 are F100 GVW. Hence the asking for additional information.
