I bought a 2002 F250 5.4l about 3 weeks ago i got a plow (meyers 2) and i want to go through the whole thing before winter.. this mean i want to do brakes, front and rear end oil change. Not sure what parts to look at seeings as i bought the truck with the plow. I know it wears out parts faster so what ones should i look at replacing. Basically everything i need to do to no what i have and make this a reliable truck.
What oil should i use for the front and rear end.
Whats a good ATF fluid.?
I just got rid of a 1992 F250 7.3 so the gasser is diffrent from what i used to drive.
I would check the brakes. Ford trucks seem to eat those pretty quick, at least on the ones I've owned. Ball joints too, especially with the extra weight hanging off the front.
