anyone tried this cowl hood idea?

ok, i finally found it on pirate. a little different then i though, but did use a second hood.

That is a nice set up. I wish they would have shown a pic of what it looks like finished.

the guy across the street from me has a home made cowl hood on his 90 f-150 the guy who owned the truck before him made it and it looks really good the only problem was the guy who made it couldn't weld very well and didn't take the time to grind the welds so the welds arn't smooth but it looks good from 5 feet i think his truck is at his parents house right now but i'll stop by and see if he's got it up here tomorrow
