f450 front shackles on f250??

f450 front shackles on f250??
i was at a buddy house today trying to figure out how to get a few extra inches of lift out of the front of my 91 diesel f250hd, well we were looking at his 95 f450 tow truck(wrecker) and his front shackles looked to be about 1"-1.5" longer than mine(on the front of the leaf spring)
if they are could i swap in some front shackles from a f450? it looked like a direct swap, any opinion's?
