March 1966 is the closest I can get to the build date. Hope this helps.

Hi Julie and Welcome to FTE Hope you will become a regular here. There is a ton of experense here for our model trucks.

I have a question for you, what tranny part requires a build date to get? Me thinks someone is pulling your leg.

I agree. You shouldn't need build date to get tranny parts.

And the moderators aren't that bad either:P just kidding. They are really nice guys/girls

Andy, There are written rules here and unspoken rules. Some of the newer members may not have been aware of the unspoken ones. The biggies are using or putting chevy, dodge or any other brand X parts in a Ford truck, or talking about ones that you have seen.

I like having fun as good as anyone, and as long as we stay clear of those issues we can have a barrell full of fun.

We have had to reach in and unplug a fellows keyboard a time or two, that couldn't take a hint and refrain, over the years.

Yea, I apologize for my remark.
It was just in fun, as Im sure all the older users knew, but maybe the newer ones didn't. Just so you know newbies.... Don't talk about other brands here.

This has been a public Service announcement brought to you in part by Andy Sutt.
Goodday
