I am looking for a heater control valve that mounts on the inner fender, all the sources that I've been too have the wrong ones, or maybe I have the wrong one! The one I have has three mounting holes in a base shaped like a triangle and then bends up 90 degrees and the valve has an arm for the cable. Is this the right one for a 63? Any help?

Mine on my 61 looks like what you describe. I replaced it with one from a chrysler product it appears to be the same valve.

 

I bought mine from Autozone and it waslisted under a 66. There arte subtle differences over the years but any of them will work.

 

Since I just got finished welding all the unused holes in these fender panels I would like to find a direct replacement if possible, any other info on the Mopar piece? I looked at several at the Auto Zone from 57 thru 70 and none were the same or even close. Does anyone know if this is the orginal type for 63?
