What size lift is this???
Hi. I am looking to lift my current truck but am nervous about what height I should go.. My current truck is not a ford and in my area there arnt many lifted trucks.. I am trying to get an idea on the height but the only lifted truck i have ever been around was my brothers which was a 97 Ford F350.. I have pics below of the truck lifted and when i asked my brother if he remembered what size lift he had put in he thought it was a 6inch lift but the truck was huge and i cant see it being a 6inc lift.. i mean you had to literally jump to get in it which is what i am nervous about.. and i am 6ft so for me to have to jump to get in i would assume its more then 6inches.. i am only lookign for a mild lift.. something where anyone can get in without a problem.. including my gf who is only 5'4... anyway.. if anyone could give some insight as to what size lift this probably is that would really help me out.. unfortunately we no longer have the truck so i cant measure anythign out..

If your current truck is not a Ford, why join a Ford site? Another site could probably tell you what a good size lift would be for it. Usually people determine a lift by what size tires they want. However, it sounds to me like you just want it for looks. If your worried about your 5'4 girlfriend having trouble getting in- don't lift it.
I couldn't really tell you what the lift is. Lets say 6 inch? But it makes no difference. A lift on a different vehicle could look different. And as you said, you don't want it to be that tall. So why's it matter?
Go two inch lift if you want to be cool.

it's a six inch lift with a set of 38'' tires, but like prozon said who gives a flying ****. put a body lift on it, crank your torsion bars and add some gnarly 33'' a/t's, because you probably have a "badass" z71 chevy.
oh, and p.s. your brother is a douchenozzle for having those curb feeler reflector tard things on that truck. have fun

explain to me how it would work for a reference point for plow clearance? they don't even come out past the tires and most plows are 7'6''. i still say it's tarded either way. and i am almost 100% sure that's a 6'' lift and that those are 38'' baja's. the 39's are way wider than those appear to be.
