Diesel leak, alternate source to get just O-ring?
I have a leak next to the water separator where the metal pipe goes down.
It is either at that pipe or at the larger O-ring holding the cap on the bottom.
Ford wants $80 for the O-ring last time I checked (Getting a new cap is required for some strange reason)
I damaged that O-ring a long time ago, but I reassembled more or less OK.
Is there another source for those O-rings that is cheaper, I don't have that much cash right now. It is a lot of diesel leaking

I'm trying to figure out which o-ring your talking about.. What year truck is this? Your talking about by the line that turns a 90* angle on the driver side of the fuel bowl and into a rubber line right??? there are a couple o-rings on the FPR of these. the one at the FPR screen and the one on the bottom where the other strainer is at.
