Trailer fuse blows

Trailer fuse blows
Hey folks I have a 2001 F250 SD with 276,700 KM
This is not a related superduty question but its worth a shot.
I need my lights working on my trailer, its a single axle 3500lb 10 ft and I added two marker lights on the fender. I have two marker lights nicely wired to the green/brown wire, everytime with a 20A fuse it blows, I tried a 25A but nothing will turn on...once I disconnect the marker lights they everything else works.
Im working on it as we speak and having problems trying to resolve it.
Thanks folks

First, don't up the fuse to a 25A, that'll just cause more problems if it melts something. So the problem has to be with the marker lights that you added. Are you sure you are wiring them in to the correct wire? Most trailers just use brown as a running light wire. I'd check with a test light just to make sure. If you are sure you have the correct wire, make sure that the wiring isn't grounding out somewhere or anything like that.

Not sure why your marker wire is green/brown. Should just be a brown wire if it's an OEM or professional install. Might explain your blown fuses. If you have a multimeter, I'd check it each pin to make sure it's wired up right.
