We've heard a lot about Bosch plugs not running right in Ford modulars. Not sure why, if it's the COPs (coils) not being compatible, the Bosch is not the correct heat range, or something else is going on, but they definitely seem to give people fits.

I've said this before in other threads, but it kinda fits. I used to work on Triumph TR7's, and lots of people would ask me to work on their car after they got it "tuned up" by local mechanics, either regular places, or foreign car specialists. They ran OK before, but after the "tune up" they never ran right again. Stalling, hesitation, bad gas mileage, you name it. Because of all the work I did on them, and me being a pack-rat at the time, I'd save all the old plugs which the OEM stock ones were Champions, even recommended in the owner's manual. I'd save the ones that looked good enough to clean up and use in my own stuff I noticed a lot of these people that had tune-ups done had Bosch plugs. So one day I decided, what the heck, I'll clean up a set of Champions and see how it runs. Success. For whatever reason, the Bosch's just didn't play well. Change them to Champions and they ran great. I got a lot of repeat customers because of that - of course, I never divulged my secret

Not to say my little story has ANYTHING to do with why the Bosch plugs don't work well in Ford modulars, but something is definitely different. And worth changing them out if you are having issues.
