Right Front Lens Cover Removal on 97 F-350

Just found that the front right turn signal is not working so I guess the bulb gave up after 13 years. After removing the two screws on the top of the lens cover I am still unable to remove it. What is the secret? Are there other hidden screws on the bottom?

You're in for a treat then. The only way I know of to get at it unless you have infant hands is to pull the whole assembly. For that you can thank Ford for another rediculously difficult process. Probaly easiest to pull battery out. Then the back side of the light housing there are two I believe but one for sure, 12 mm bolts or nuts. I could only access the bottom one with a 1/4" drive deep socket and had to find it blindly. I can't remember if you have to pull the long headlamp adjustment screws or not but if so they are like 4 or 5 mm. Hopefully someone will chime in with an easier process that I was too ignorant to see but that's what I did.

You will have to pull out the battery. I don't remember the size but you can't see the nut down on the bottom of the headlight. It is down there. I had the same problem replacing mine. Feel around at the middle bottom of the headlight and use a deep drive socket. A mirror might help.

Thanks to all for the responses since I would never have figured it out. It is this kind of support that makes FTE such a wonderful resource with a great bunch of people.
