Ugly exhaust tip has to go. Help.

I just bought a 2010 F 350. Should say bought it for the wife. She says the ugly exhaust tip has to go. Just wondering wht my options are. I had a MBRP tubo back straight exhaust on my 05 6 liter. Too noisy for my wife. She likes how quiet the new truck is. If I go with a filter back exhaust will it be as quiet as stock? All I am really looking for is to get rid of the exhaust tip. What are my options?

DPF back is what you are looking at. Have to be careful though that you maintain some of the cooling fins you see to keep the temps down.

Banks has a single and dual setup and I think MBRP has at least a single.

I mis-read it, yeah I would not know the quietness either.

When I first purchased my MBRP "cool duals" exhaust in 2008, I was hoping for less restriction and better sound. Sadly for me, the sound stayed the same as the OEM exhaust. That DOC/DFP is what keeps it quiet. Sounds like it's just what you're looking for though. Even though it didn't change the exhaust note for me, it did look WAY better! It has 4" pipe and 5" slash cut chrome tips.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I really like the looks of the exhaust tips.

I'm with ya! I love the high polished duals. And my stock exhaust with no cat or dpf, afe intake, and 4" downpipe sounds awesome.
