Rim sizes

Hi guys, hopefully someone can answer this.
I need to find out if the 8x170 rims came in 16.5, or if that was only the old 8 lug pattern.

I'm pretty sure that was only for the old 8 lug pattern (the 8x6.5), but I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in. Welcome to the site!

Why are you looking for 16.5" rims? They are getting really hard to find and expensive when you do find them. There also aren't a lot of tire choices for them either.

Cheap 37's! I have a '63 wagoneer with 8-lug 1 ton axles and I'm running surplus humvee 37's. I can get them from a local guy for $80-90 each with 80-90% tread.
My ford has stock tires and steel wheels. I have a set of aluminum excursion wheels, but dont wanna pay up $1300 for new tires.
I was hoping to find 16.5's with the new 8 on metric pattern to run the humvee tires.

Now that's the hard part. I'm lucky because it seems my girlfriend likes my truck more than I do... just don't tell her that!
