Swapmeet road trip

Hi
We are some (3) lads from Sweden on a two week road trip in September. The plan is to visit Good guys Chicago land National Il in Sept. 17, 18 and 19 and then drive to Fall Jefferson Show in WI on the 24, 25 and 26. Someone knows if the show is good or not? Anything else on the road in this area worth to pay a visit to?
We drive from New york 15 sep we are interrested in F-100 truck and Hotrods.

The Jefferson swap meet has mainly '70s Chevy parts but there are the occasional Ford truck parts to be found. It's a good swap meet, you never know what you'll find. I go mainly because it's a swap meet and any swap meet is a good swap meet.

If you have the time there's the Wisconsin Auto Museum,http://wisconsinautomuseum.com. I live about 15 miles from it but have never been there. I've heard a lot of good things about it. A week ago I attended a wedding in the adjacent reception hall but unfortunately the museum was closed at the time but I was able to look through the windows and could see numerous vintage cars, many hot rods. I'm going to try to make a trip in the very near future.

You can also check out the Harley Museum in Milwaukee, http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/C...eum/Museum.jsp. I visited the museum the first time a couple of weeks ago. It very well organized and has pretty much a sample of every model Harley has built.

You probably already know this, but I think you'll have a good time at a Goodguy's car show. I like them because there's always a good variety of everything car and truck related 1972 and older.

I have been attending the Chicago Goodguys show for the past few years. It is a very good show with a variety of cars and trucks. If you decide to attend the Chicago Goodguys show, look me up; I have a black 1955 F100 with white wall tires.
