Stroker Motor

How do you take parts out of a 460 and put into a 429 and make a stroker motor?

460 crank and pistons to work with your heads & deck height. (two or three possible for a 429). Rods are the same length.

Just like Ford did.

Serving suggestion: Instead of taking the 460 apart, just get the whole engine and start there.

429 and 460 use the same block so they drop in.

There is an exception that is you can't put the 78 and early rotating assemblies into the D9TE blocks with out a LOT of clearencing.
