Thanks guys. The seller told me when he put in the new engine (a mildly hot-rodded 400 with an RV cam, Edelbrock intake, Holley 4-barrel), he had a coolant leak from a bad head gasket, and he replaced it. During my drive home, the truck started using coolant. There is no coolant in the oil, and nothing is dripping on the ground, so I bet it's burning coolant in one or more combustion chambers. I haven't pulled the plugs yet to inspect them, but I will do that in the next few days.

Here is my 75 f-250, daily driver, pulls trailers weekly, great all around work horse of a truck, was my grandfathers been slowly restoring it, got in a wreck last winter, worked all summer fixing it. Still have original bed in barn, but this bradford built flatbed has been awesome so far, liked the way it turned out looking on truck.
