I could not find what I was looking for in the search, so hopefully this is not a repost.

I have a 2012 F350 DRW 4x4 6.7L diesel. I am wanting to lift it and put on bigger tires. What size lift do I need to put on 37s? I'm wanting to keep the factory ride as much as possible, as I lifted my old Excursion before and it rode real rough. The biggest problem right now is trying to find rims to support 35 or 37 inch tires. All the rims that I have found are only 6 to 6 1/2" wide, where as 35s and 37s need at least a 7.5 rim or wider. I did find some rims that would work but I'm not forking out 5,000 + for rims. Is the SRW front axle the same size as the DRW and the only difference is the spacer. Could I just remove the spacer and put on regular rims on the front? And what is the disadvantage to this?

You can run a regular rim right up front without an issue, I'm 99% sure. For the rear I would run a super single with that tall of a tire.
