My wife & I just purchased this vehicle tonight & will pick it up tomorrow. We test drove it on dirt roads & the highway, with nothing happening out of the ordinary; or, so we hope. I'm always leary of used vehicles, but this one seemed clean & ready to go.

I've been reading a lot of posts, topics & web pages on this model year & it seems to be a solid performing truck. We've wanted a diesel for quite some time, but haven't found the "One" until today.

Just thought I'd say hello & thanks to all those that have asked their questions and to those that have posted answers =).

does he want to avoid using the block heater on the '85 guys? i can't remember what yr's.i read it and out of memory it goes right after lol.
anyway.hope someone remembers to inform him/more details.

 

Welcome and congrats. Thats a good year for reliability, not very much to go wrong and the things that do go wrong are simple and cheap to fix.
