ABS , Overdrive & Speedo Problems
I doubt all these are related but they all happened within 10 miles of each other. ABS light came on and stayed on. Went about 8 miles and and my overdrive off light started blinking. Another cuple of miles and my speedo stopped working. My truck is a 99 f-250 with a 7.3 powerstroke. Would the speedo cable cause this? I have had an intermittent chirping sound that I could not pin-point for about a year now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. The speedo did come back for a little bit but quit again shortly after.

Need to get a scanner to read what codes it's holding. You might need an ABS (special) scanner to read the ABS code. Go to the local auto parts store and see what your codes are first. An educated guess would be the VSS rear ABS/speed sensor located at the top of the rear pumpkin. It's about $15-20 dollars and takes 5 minutes to change.
