What was the final consensus on the performance of the dynomax system? I am ready to pull the trigger on an exhaust system but I really can't make up my mind what direction I want to go.
The other direction I thought looked promising was the black widow muffler system that Long Haul went with. Any more feedback on this setup?
I really need some direction for what to do with this exhaust.

I think the consensus is, no system results in any real performance gains, other than the ear dyno. You may pick up 3-5hp from the exhaust if used in conjunction with a custom tune. The factory system is large and flows well. As far as sound, that is an opinion, what some like, others will think is to loud. Any system can have 2 levels of loudness depending on if you leave/remove the rear resonator(assuming you don't have a regular cab). The dynamax system can have 3 with the replacement y for the front resonator. Some of these systems come two ways, aluminized and stainless. Major prices difference, but if you go the cheaper route, don't be disappointed if the aluminized is rusted out in a couple years. I'm looking at the Gibson dual side swept system. I've had a Gibson system before and liked it.

I had a borla 40359 welded on at a local shop. This is the same muffler they use for their S type cat backs. My truck is a 2011 F 150 with the 6.2L.
$90 bucks for the muffler $70 for a nice chrome tip, and $40 for labor... Sound is amazing. Just what I wanted. Zero drone, yet a nice deep rumble. Just what I wanted. I still have the factory resonator.

Whats up guys? Long time reader and lurker, just registered. I have a 2016 f250 6.2l and read about the muffler delete many people have done. Is there any negative engine effects to doing this? I want to delete the muffler and small resonator and leave the large one with the y pipe. Will this hurt my warranty?
My other idea is to delete the muffler and small resonator, leave the large one and add a flowmaster 40 3.5 in in/out muffler. I was curious to hear your opinions on the exhaust. It seems many people have reported better mileage on the muffler delete and a good sound. I don't mind a loud exhaust, I just don't want to hurt my brand new motor or lose my warranty for doing this.
Any help and information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
-G

I had just responded to your other post when you moved it. I had the muffler deleted, and even deleted the second resonator. It was hideously loud in the cab with terrible drone. I don't see how this would effect your warranty unless you have a stupid dealer. Fords not going to know you deleted your muffler, and the dealer just wants to get paid for the warranty work. My dealer doesn't care what I do, but can't help me if ford wants to see the history on the computer and there is something there, like a tuner. I also don't see how it's going to hurt the motor.
