Now see MY wife says she hates driving it, but always wants to take it. Also in traffic she has learned the power of putting the grill in the prius' back seat to move em the hell out of the high speed lane... Its a riot.

Yes it is...work's like a charm. I like it when the people in the back seat turn around and their eyes pop out of their head.

I bought the Ex for my wife because we needed the 8 seats for carpooling. It's hers, but she doesn't care what she drives. She likes it because its sets high and is safe.

It's her daily driver, at first she did not like it but now it has grown on her. We were discussing the possibility on trading it in for a F250 and after looking at a few she tells me she wants to keep the Ex a year or two more. She love pickup trucks and had one for many years before the Ex so imagine my surprise to hear that one!

i have a focus that i use for my daily driver. my f350 is my work/fun truck and my winter vehicle. my wife has a fusion and every stinking time it snows she whines to let her take the truck leaving me to brave the elements in my focus. this is why i bought her the excursion as she likes to drive it since its not a dually and i can have my stinking truck back when it snows! plus it doubles as a nice family vacation truck with plenty of room!

Thumbs up

My wife bought her 03 Ex new (7.3) and has loved it ever since. She lets me drive it on the weekends but fusses at me when I step on the accelerator, I tell her that I have to blow the sut out of it and with the super chips it will belch out some black smoke! Sure am glad we got the 7.3L, has anyone bought a new super duty with the new Ford 6.7 diesel? Will be interesting to see how they perform and hold up!

Mine says she doesn't like driving in it but certainly likes riding around in it. Says the Explorer is more stealth darting around in traffic....

X2.

She gets a kick out of the fact her Ex is bigger than my extended cab short bed.

But she hates that my truck is a lot faster because of the mods!

My wife's daily drive was my old Camry (1997 with 180K miles) to take the boys to school, food shopping, etc. She's a full time mom; I used to drive the Excursion daily but since they've stopped making them, and I cannot afford another car for now, I have covered my truck and take the train daily to work and back. We recently vacationed in the OuterBanks, NC. Initially my wife did not want to go but when she found out we were taking the Excursion, I never saw her more excited. She loves it because it's very stable, quiet and safe.
