race gas

Hello all

I have a 2000 Ford F350 V10. I used to own a Vintage race bike and I have a little less then 5 Gal of 110 race gas for the bike. I currently have 3/4 of a tank of gas in the truck right now would it be ok to put the race gas in the truck. gas is expensive so i really don't want to get rid of the 110 but if its a bad idea then i guess i will. Thanks

You can add racing gas to your regular fuel and the smell of your exhaust will wake up the street racer crowd in you area. It'll be fun.

I'd use the race gas up in small increments instead of just throwing it in the truck all at once.

Yip, that'll make the perfume last longer.

If it is leaded fuel expect it to kill your oxygen sensors and catalysts.

I agree. SMALL increments is the best approach.
What about selling it to a friend or someone at the track? You really won't gain much from running it through your truck. Cash might go further.

EDIT:
I re-read the OP's thread - less than 5 gallons probably isn't worth much for re-sale.

110 is usually leaded, so be careful.

Your right acording to VP's website. I have a 5 gallon pail of VP110 in the shop and in no place does it say it contains lead. All it says is petroleum distillates and can cause bith defects in California. Thats not cool because leaded gas lets the lead soak right thru your skin and into your bloodstream. I'm suprised it's not on the label. The do offer unleaded oxegenated fuel that claims 4-6% more power. That would be nice but it's probably 8 bucks a gallon.
