Dido on that for sure. And could you imagine the litigation from the owner of the logo (Any logo) used without permission. The cost to get permission would prolly supersede any profits. All in all a very entertaining story. I enjoy doing that kind of thing to the younger generation at party's. If presented well like this story so many will take it as gospel.
Bill you are needed in the "Missing a piece under steering wheel" thread Bud.
Bigpigdaddy great story! It inspired me this morning at the gas station when some yuppy pulled in with a new cabelos edition super duty. Had him believing that Ford had been building them for years and that i had a silver edition 1977 F150 in high school. I didnt set him straight but as soon as he left there was about 5 of us cracking up so hard we couldnt breath. 1 guy had to go outside while i was talkin cause he could barely keep from laughing.

MORE MADE UP STUFF! RUN AWAY!
Funny you should mention the '77 Silver Edition. There was a fella named Mortimer who worked for Ford back in '77 and told me once about....
Haha keep goin itd got to be a good 1. I told him it was the 70s version of todays platinum F150. And it origanally had white pinstripes around the concave. He bought every word of it. Told the story later to chevy friend of mine n had him goin for a while too but his older neighbor was there n ruined it.
