Haha- I gotcha, Mil1ion! 400+351w= 351m! The 351c was the same family, but shorter block, different bell, etc. Also, for #11, asking torque, not hp.
Good questions, about the only two I got right, though.

Dennis you might want to check your Shelby HP figures. I beleive it was 305 hp. I know he did not state if he was looking for the "R" model which disappeared in '66 but I think hp figures increased in the street cars. I might be eating my own words here.

Yep, 12 is C. Petty drove the #43 Petty Talladega, one of the factory Torino Talladegas but they were Boss 429s after NASCAR legalized them part way into the 1969 Grand National season.

And on #11 the torque is right but that was the Lincoln 460 for '68 - '71.

7 out of 12 by memory.

I was sure about the 54 ford though.

Boss Hoss was a slang term by regular people I guess.

I can't find any reference for the 427 being that high .

I still think the 429 was better with almost the same Tq at a lower rpm.

And what engine do you have in your truck dennis? FoMoCo.com used to have all sorts of nifty engine specs on their site but I guess they got rid of it. It had a lot of HP and TQ specs for factory performance engines. I'm pretty sure the 427SOHC put out well over 500ft lbs. It did make 657HP@7,500rpm with dual quads and 617HP at 7,500rpm with a single.
