I will be coming to North carolina from Ohio in a few weeks to pick up a car and was hoping to be able to score a rust free bed for my 79 while im down that way. If anybody knows of any scrap yards that may have some potential donors. Im all ears, I have been searching out craigslist for parts but havent found anything to promising. Thanks KB.
Keep trying craigslist. There's also Pull-a-part in Charlotte, and there may be one somewhere else too. I know the one there always has quite a few of our trucks

The problem with America today is stupidity. I'm not saying we should punish the stupid people, but perhaps take the safety labels off everything and let the problem solve itself

You wont easily find a bed for that thing. Especially if its a short bed, thats even rarer. Pretty high demand. Have seen only a couple rust free ones and have had price tags that would make you faint.
