No Start when hot (95 F250 7.3)

Okay, now that I fixed all the cold start woes, now I have a no start after it gets hot. Cranks right up when cold or cool normal blue/white smoke for 30 seconds then runs okay no smoke. Three days ago I went out drove 10 miles parked and when I came back ten minutes later it cranks but no smoke no fire. I believe I have either a leaking IPR oring or injector oring(s). I changed the oil & filter no help there. I believe when the engine oil 15-40 gets hot it's thinner getting by the orings, as when its cool or cold it starts right up. I have noticed a slight buck or hesitation on steep grades in the last two months, but I attributed that to water in the fuel. I ordrered a reseal kit for the IPR, and will tackle that first. My next guess is to pull the valve covers to inspect injectors for leaking oil at the weep hole. Anyone got any other ideas.

Good plan. The Injector O rings will leak from the base of the injector...

I would start with IPR o-rings. You are on the right track.

X3. More likely and not to mention much easier to deal with that 8 injectors.

The bucking is probably from the HPOP not keeping up with the oil demands.

I appreciate all the direction and suggestions. I was able to run diagnostic tests on the truck today. We got several DTC's; P0380 something about the glow plug heater ( I think it maybe the fuel bowl heater which is fried I just got my new one today) then we got P01271, P01272, P01273, P01274, P01275, P01277 all one the KOEO test, on KOER was a P1111 which is a pass. I still had to give it a small puff of spray to get it started when hot. We also did the injector buzz test, came up with all the same number as above just said CKT with it? Our tester indicates these codes are open circuits with the fuel injectors for the related cylinder except cylinders 6 & 8. Would it be likely that those cylinders are the ones with bad orings? I will be tackling the IPR tomorrow. I also read somewhere if you rev the engine to 2500-3000 rpm in neutral it should be smooth until redline. My truck starts to break up around 2300 rpm. I could not find those codes in the forums anyone that can confirm them would be great.

There is a code list right on top of the threads in a "sticky".

I'd still do the IPR O ring first ,,,

DTCs P1271-P1278 indicate a low side-to-high side open in the circuit between the IDM and the injector.
Note: If all of the DTCs associated with an entire bank are retrieved, the high side circuit is most likely open.

okay, still going ahead with IPR, but I don't understand the low-high side...is it referring to a wiring open or just a concern from lack of oil pressure to cycle injectors...either caused by the IPR leak or injector orings leaking???

Have you shaken the IDM to see if it has water in it ?..

The codes point to a wiring problem only ..
