my 350 drw long bed has a chatter when taking off pulling my 14k toy hauler worse if in a turn took it to dealer today there is aservice bulletin on diff chatter on limited slip straight line chatter is to be deturmined but drive line angle under load is suspected has any one else had or heard of similar problem

 

Hi, just to let you know you are not the only not the only one out there with the issue. I'm on holidays right now pulling my 5th wheel and when I lay into it I'm getting the same feeling. I will have to speak to the dealer when I get back.

 

this is a driveline angle issue. Happens on 08-10 models as well. When you put that much in the bed of the truck, it sags too much.

Product of weaker springs. So helper springs or airbags for those heavy loads will take care of the issue.

preference to the airbags with onboard compressor. Then you can air up tires too.

 

I pull a 13000 pound fiver that sets my truck down to level. I have not noticed any rear end chatter in 3500 miles of towing it.
