One thing to be careful of though is rim width and also the offset. I run 7" wide wheels and 4.25" or so offset. Jason (76Hauler) has the same except his wheels are 16's and mine were 15's
Ok thanks for the advice! The wheels are those gray stock 8-spoke F-150 wheels and the tires are 12.5" wide, maybe too wide oh well. I just want them for the wheels anyway. If I get them I was going to get new, smaller tires anyways.

I run 35x12.50r15 tires on 15x7" wheels all the time. Tires are not too wide for those wheels...

73 F100, chasetruck said it, rear is stock-ish. I pulled the overload leafs to take out some of the stiffness, maybe lost just the thickness of the leaf in height. no blocks. 35's fit really well. i like the wheels your tallking about , they'll look great! go with somee 33 12.50's, betcha you'll like 'em!

cheeto, I'll check my build sheet on the color codes, the green on this thing seems to be different than the olive green i've seen on other trucks.

I was talking about they maybe too wide or tall for my truck the way it is now.

Oh ok. Yeah these wheels look really good on our trucks. Unfortunately, I'm probably going to get smaller tires when I get new ones, similar to the size I have now. I would love to build a prerunner-style truck with one of our trucks one day, but I want to make my '73 a hot rod. Maybe someday I'll find another like mine and build it like a prerunner. This definitely isn't going to be my last dentside !

Awesome Truck! What all did you do to it? I'm really liking the idea of doing this to a f250 crew cab I just bought.

AutoFab 4" lift, extended radius arms, extended brake lines, DJ safety limit straps, Bilstein shocks, 35's tires, stock Ford alcoa wheels, fenders trimmed and rear quarters. Built 460, C6. Hurst quarter stick, autometer tach. chasetruck just built me a front skid plate, and he made the bed bars you see.
I just dropped off a set of leaf springs to Jeff Deaver of Deaver Springs. He's going to re-build the leaf pack for me.
Any other questions, gimme a shout! **Post up a picture of your truck!!

whoops, my bad. The wheels in my pic's are my old alcoas, I've got "new" ones now, they were on the late 90's F250-350 and E250-350's. I'll get some pic's of the new wheels. Thanks 73F100

Jason got it right - they are off the HD 8 lug trucks (both F-250 and 350) from about 92 to 97. I sold him the set he is running before I realized I need 4 more
It's ok though - they make the hauler look great and I will find 4 more at some point
