alright umm...
well a miss could be caused by several things
any check engine light?

ya might have a vacuum leak
or bad MAP sensor

if you have a CEL light check for codes

Was anything done to it recently. The problem may be related to that.

A good tune up with quality parts may help it out.

I'm thinking that the fuel filter may just need to be changed.

I second the fuel filter. Maybe in tank pump weak. Again check the fuel presser when it is acting up. Do ya have duel tanks?

Fuel filter may be clogged up.

Not sure i completly understand the problem. Does it start up get warm idle down then stall? if so i would guess coolant temp sensor. (don't buy anything but motorcraft or other ford recomended sensor)

i start it up in the morning when motor is cold, start the motor it revs up then starts idiling down the stalls, the fuel regulator has been replaced, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter,it has dual tanks but only use the front tank,,the fuel pressure regulator went bad and filled the intake full of gas,had to clean that all out, took the intake hoses off cleaned the throttle body out.
