My dad's buddy broke his arm and darn near drown on an 80 pounder. We call it hawgin'. I have never done it myself. It is pretty dangerous though. In Indiana (where the arm was broke) you are liable to get a hold of a snappin turtle or a water moccasin if you don't know what you are doing.
