need help installing my HPOP guage, advice, opions, creative thoughts?

So I found a 100 P.S.I. oil guage by "U.S. Guage co." and want to install it on my valance (exterior of truck) but am looking for some creative thoughts and ideas. I also am not sure exactly how to install an HPOP guage, so any input there will be helpull.
Thanks in advance Guys and Gals, I know you'll come through for me.

Don't mount it inside the cab unless you use an isolator or like hot oil baths

Electric gauges are more better.

EDIT: Noticed you already said "outside the cab". Sorry, I have to stop reading this stuff on my phone. Too small to see.

You make me laugh every time, because I do the same thing. I don't have good reading and writing skills. Not for lack of education, just dislexic sometimes LOL . Yeah I know electric is better gut being outside the cab I figure an old school mechanical will do the trick.

Dan: Don't waste a jewel like that on your 7dot3. Imagine how good that gauge would look, hanging by a ty wrap under the dash on your rat rod-priceless.

You can't use that gauge for high pressure oil. You'd need one that could go to at least 3,000 psi, and that's easily monitored with electronics.

For your low pressure, that should work, but at idle the oil pressure is likely to be down around 10 psi so it will be hard to see.

How detailed an install are you looking for? We've seen lots of options here.

Or perhaps you're looking for a cleaner install

Brandon mounted a fuel pressure gauge you can see here by the windshield wiper.

I've seen where someone used this type of mount but used a piece of PVC pipe around the gauge that was painted to match the cowl to blend things in better. I can't find the picture of that one.

Dan, you are aware that you need a ~4000psi gauge for HPOP readings right?

Just trying something original. you can get an idea of my tatse by looking at my rat. I found some 2"1/4" trucker lamps (might work for housings) got a box full of steel braided line in all sizes (so I may use that) nothing fancy though. Use what I got sorta thing.

Low pressure side 100 psi is good as you probably will never see more than 65-70 psi there.

High pressure side can spike to 3,000 with a stock pump. Mine does. With a modified pump 3,200 can happen pretty regular. Not sure but I think the dual pump guys are hitting 3,800 on occasion.

I would be thinking about making a little PVC pipe housing like F360-6 said. Someone on here posted a picture of a PVC one mounter on the cowl.

Just for kicks, couldn't Dan use that for a fuel presure gauge, mounted like Brandons??? I think Ron (ronspowerstroke) has the same setup or working on it. Then you could just get a electric oil press. gauge from Clay, just a thought.
