Im starting the turbo rebuild after work today. Hopefully be done tomorrow afternoon.

Hmmm, Im sensing something amiss in my wording but I just cant put my finger in it.......
Glad to hear it, congrats! Our trucks originally had 75W-140, the 80/90 might over temp/break down when towing. I have a tru track in my GS and I'm very happy with it.

Happy Birthday Me!

Working a Saturday in the office. What better way to kill the downtime then to go install Iron Cross HD running boards on the Ex in the parking garage! Bought those and an 05-07 grill (not here yet) as a birthday present to myself

We leave Monday for Chicago. Well Antioch, IL. What part of town will you be in and how long are you going to be there?

I'm glad you guys made it home safe. I figured you already had LT tires since that was one of the first things you told me I should upgrade. I will upgrade mine at the end of this travel season.

I think 75/140 was for clutches. I always run the 80/90 with friction modifier in the older clutch diffs and never had an issue. I'll keep an eye on it though. I'll take my temp gun with me next weekend.

Finished the turbo install yesterday. Had a scare when the boost only went to 5 on a WOT pass. It was making noise before the gauge showed anything. Turned out to be the capillary tube, had a hole at the connection, now makes 25 psi. That wicked wheel makes a louder whistle too.

CC, while you are in there wrap the fuel line with some hose where that clamp is to keep it from rubbing threw the line.
