What did you do to the X today?
Congratulations - here is to another decade
Nice, that's a few miles
Today I drove it... and tried to figure out why I'm getting that stupid P0132B (?) code about turbo performance. When I pulled it a month ago to clean and install the Riffraff wheel it was actually in really good shape. The only thing I might need to do now is pull the actual VGT solenoid and try cleaning that. I would also like to meet the gorilla that last changed the HFCM fuel filter and get that S-O-B to loosen it for me...
Wife's Acadia went into the shop again. So, I was daily driving the Ex for a couple weeks and was noticing my mileage was down a few MPG and seemed to idle a little rough (tough to tell with a diesel). I eventually got a "Service Engine Soon" light. Was a code P1119, so I ordered a $20 intake air temp sensor. Hopefully that takes care of it.
The Acadia behaved itself in the shop and came home yesterday with no repairs made on an intermittent transmission problem ... a ticking timebomb awaiting future failure. I'm driving it for now, unless I decide to trade it in this weekend.

So this is more of a what have I been up to on the X rather than what I did to it today...
Since my motor failed - 7 cracked pistons, 1 with a hole.
I have fully rebuilt.
Forged rods, balanced motor, ARP Mains, ARP Head studs, 910 springs, Fluidampr, etc...
Lots of Riff Raff goodies...HPx/FRx/Plenums/Fuel CCV and Banjo bolts:
Cleaned up the bay a little:
Thanks to where ever I read about spacing the cab off the frame:
Spacing the body off the frame allows installation with up-pipes installed:
Going in...
Home again!
With everything done, it runs exceptionally smooth - and relatively quiet for having single shots installed. About 3,000 miles on the new motor thus far

I'm going to try and keep the electronic case in there. I already swapped the input shaft and have it bolted up. Apparently I'll have to play with some wiring to get it to shift in to 4 low though.
It is actually a **** from back in my honda days, it just happened to have the same threads as the nv4500 shifter. It is made by Skunk2.

I washed my truck Wednesday, filled it up and used it to haul some wood around for a small gate/door at my MIL's bar. Will get a picture of the finished product later.
