Sad deal last week for a family who went fishing this week, on the way home they lost control of their Excursion towing a travel trailer and hit a tree, one 15 year old child was killed in the crash. Scary stuff, I was just down that way with my trailer and there is no shoulder to that road at all.

In lighter news I've been enjoying the good weather since being home almost a full week. I leave again in a week and a day for Reno, NV and Hot August Nights/ Barrett Jackson.

last night around midnight

Went and had lunch today on the patio of a great local place right next to the creek.

Then the clouds rolled in about 4pm and a quick down pour happened, I put the top up just in time!

And now. They came with 275/70-18's mounted on them, but I think it needs a little taller yet. Plus needs to be more aggressive like the duratracs I had on before all this suspension swap stuff.

What do u plan on doing with the other wheels? I'd be interested in buying them off you.

New wheels & tires

Installed my spacers and mounted 2010 F-250 wheels with Toyo Open Country ATII 285/75-18 tires. The spare is a take-off from the same 2010 F-250 (275/70-18 Michelin LTX), I had to modify the tire cover to "fit".

Started "interviewing" diesel shops in the area. There is one in Auburn that I get a good vibe from, they had two 6.0 blown head projects torn appart... I don't immediately need any work done, but having a good mechanic available is always a good thing to have.

Just joined this site, but I've been stalking it for years. Dropping my fuel tank today (bad fuel) and an older post on here kept me from dropping the tank on my face. I had two of the skid plate bolts out and something told me to double check the removal process. Thought I'd say thank you to everyone on here that's helped me out over the years, even if you didn't know you did!

I'm doing the hutch and harpoon mod while I have it down. I've been wanting to do it for awhile, but never had the time. Thanks to Shell, I now have the time.

Is Shell paying for all of this fun?

So, the original owner is an idiot.

Or Ford added this, which I doubt.
