What did you do to the X today?
Went from a 33' TT to a 18' TT and freaking love it. Drove down to Vegas on Friday night, picked it up on Saturday, stayed the night and then drove back to Reno on Sunday. Decided to keep with the WDH and mounted the saddles to the new trailer which was a GREAT decision since it handles so much better. This new trailer is awesome.
Glad to not have such a behemoth.
Before:
33'er (2013 Dutchmen Aspen Trail 2810BHS)
After:
18'er (2016 Riverside Whitewater Retro 177SE)

And here I am wanting to dump my 20' TT for a 26'ish with a slide out! lol Can't have enough space it seems.
I almost took the Excursion out for a drive tonight, it was SUCH a beautiful day...still 70F at 10pm. But i just moved it around the driveway so i could get the lawn tractor out and mow, since the last time i did it was before i left on vacation. It's been so hot a dry here this summer i can't seem to water the lawn enough, still getting brown spots.

Looks like your big trailer squeezed out a puppy! Love that retro look. I've always wanted to put an older body on an F250 chassis and have a trailer like that. Of course, our EX's are becoming retro with every passing day. Like your truck too, good looking rig fore and aft of the hitch!
Yesterday, I pulled the rear wheels off and painted the wheel wells. No, I dont have pics. Im going to pull the rear bumper off and blast the hitch and area and paint. I'll get pics then.
Mentioned powder coating my wheels (black) to my wife. She suggested something more along the lines of the color scheme already there. So now Im thinking a dark army green. Ugh, I hate decisions.

What I did.
thanks to this forum, my one week old new 2000 Ford Excursion Limited now has new spark plugs, ignition coils, K&N cold air intake, and Spyder headlights.
Next up is the radio, speakers, and differential cover with new fluid. I plan to use this forum a lot so I should start communicating.

Welcome Bobby.
We do need pictures immediately.
Check out the 08+ rear diff cover. See link below. Requires longer bolts too.

I am glad I WASN'T driving my Ex today, almost did. I was driving my Sunbird Convertible in Raleigh, crested a hill and traffic was stopped on the other side, I locked the brakes down, ABS worked but I ended up tagging the car in front of me. Almost no damage to his car, mine needs headlights and a hood.
If I had been in the Ex I wouldn't have slowed down so quickly and would have really had a more serious accident.
As a funny coincidence I have already found a parts car Sunbird, I just have to drag it out of the woods. No Charge.
