What did you do to the X today?
Nice score on the rims there! Those rims didn't come from the factory on anything, the ones you have are the very rare Ford SVT '04 18" rims. They were only available as over the counter "factory aftermarket" parts from a Ford dealer back in the day. They are of the same dimensions and basic shape of the Harley Davidson (came on all '04 H-D F-250/350 trucks), King Ranch (came on all KR trucks starting in mid year '04, but was possible to option them off in favor of the 16" rims) and Lariat (became optional in mid year vs the standard 16" rims). Nice find!

I've been concidering the AMP Research side steps, but they are on the more expensive side of things.
The reason I joined this forum is that I needed the peer pressure to do things right! AKA make my Ex nicer. I really want the 2008 mirrors, but my wife told me she would get them for me for Christmas if I slowed down on spending for the Ex for a bit. I will take that deal for sure! Although, I have to do studs ASAP and while I'm in there an EGR delete is necessary.
Very nice indeed! Welcome to the 18" Wheel club
I had a good adventure getting mine as well. I don't think mine was quite 12 hours, but still a good drive indeed. How much did you end up paying for those super rare and awesome wheels.
Are you wanting a set like the Limited Steps, or do you want something purely aftermarket?

I payed $500 and they had Nitto Terra Grapplers on them in 285/65r18 and had 60% tread. I am gunna try to sell the tires to recoup some of the cost. I think it was a good deal. I wanted OEM and I was willing to pay to have them.
I'm not sure yet. I would love the AMP ones, but I can do alot with that grand in the motor department.
They come in a pack of a million for a dollar so I use them on everything. I'll put bolts in eventually
Had XRF ball joints, EBC Yellow stuff pads (F & R), new OEM Rotors (F & R), and braided stainless hoses installed. Can't wait to pick it up in the AM, got to make an appt. for an alignment on Saturday now.
Found a place that makes stainless/braided hoses for 2WD, got the complete 5-piece set (both fronts, rear pumpkin, and both rears) for $269. Super excited to get my Ex back.
This place also makes the hard-lines for those folks that need them..
EGR Performance Brakes, brakes for Dodge, Ford, Chevy, GMC, Tahoe, Yukon, Excursion, Dakota, Durango or whatever you drive.
