Uncle gave me a ~30ft (I think, just a guesstimate it has been in storage awhile) cabin cruiser today, needs a new engine. He has the engine and as long as I am willing to do the swap it is mine. Will try to snag some pics of the Ex hauling it when I can, should be moving it tomorrow.

Putting in a Chev 400 smallblock vroom vroom. If there is interest I can make a build thread in the offtopic forum

Edit - quite similar to this: http://www.usedvictoria.com/ReportSe...osition=4&hb=8

Installed my Fathers day gift yesterday. What a difference. You will notice I have two different adapters. That is because when I ordered through crutchfield mine came with the black adapter. I needed the gray version and they got it out to me right away. Now I need to order some speakers for the rear of the cab.

Congrats Nate, that will be a lot of fun!

May I suggest you invite Andy (snowseeker) and his family to spend a week vacation at your castle on the lake. In return he can knock that project out for you in a few days.

Degas reservoir developed a crack awhile back. Finally got around to swapping out the old and bolting in the new.

Flushing the coolant system too since the ELC is 9 years old.

I can't recall last time you did a repair on the EX. I've changed out my degas reservoir 3 times since I've owned my current EX, not because they break but cause I don't like the color beige under the hood

I think the last time I did a repair was when my buddy Pete (Duck Fan) came over and we changed the LPOP on the Ex.

The last time I did a mod was when I swapped pillar trim pieces with WarX and I bolted in a grab handle on the drivers side.

new injector, turbo to hot CAC pipe boot.

The driver's side is a breeze compared to the passenger side!

Michael, Looks like you are having a grand time! Enjoy my friend!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I just got home from a weekend camping in Homer,AK. Weather held out for the most part, this was the first real rain i've seen since this winter. Lots of fun with family and friends. Pulled the trailer with the F-150, that 6.2 has some serious passing power!

How is the performance? I drove a Lamborghini Countach years ago. My brothers buddy leased one, the power was good but it didn't start pulling until 4500 rpm and had to shift at 7500 rpm. Plus being 6'5", it was cramped but worth it! Sounded just like the car in Cannon Ball run. Fun stuff!
