Cold here too, got to love ND! Hey it keeps the riffraff out! Lol
I moved snow today, and did some measuring on the Wagoneer outside. Going to be fitting a set of Superduty axles under it. Lol

Holy smoke. Our grocery store discount is $0.20 per gallon for up to 25 gallons

Man, there are times I miss a nice quiet ride along the right-of-way. Peaceful moments between the hustle of pipeline work.

So.. guess what I get to start learning...

i had the guy down to $250 when my wife came over and was all "What about this and this and this. I don't think this unit is as unused as you guys think it is. We would be willing to go $225 and that's it."

The guy was kind of stunned for a moment, then agreed to the $225.

AND they threw in this awesome welding cart! FREE!

-37c (-35f) tomorrow night... and my area will be one of the warmest in Quebec... Northern Quebec is expecting in the area of -50c (-58f)... and to think it was raining with temps of 10c (50f) on Sunday...

Guess the X gets some garage r&r... how lucky are we in Canada for paid parental leave!

Mine is tucked firmly in the garage with the heat vents open and it's -9F outside. But I have no doubts she would start outside if needed with her new 850CC battery. Must investigate my lack of washer fluid on the drivers side today though - brrrr. Motor is running but just a trickle on the driver's side. Going to have to get the topside creeper out to get back there and pull the line off and see what the problem is...

I've got one of them in the garage. Think I paid $75 for it. Lol. Looks like they where welding right next to the ground clap with that thing. Lol it's really not a hard thing to learn, it's just the knowing what amps for how thick, for what size rod, and what type of rod to use that gets confusing sometimes.

I just had a hell of a time getting mine to start this morning. I forgot to plug it in last night and it is 13° this morning. Killed the damn battery trying to get it to crank. Ended up plugging in the heater, putting a charger on the 2nd battery and since I was warming up the wife's car I hooked that up to the main battery. 20 minutes later, I can get the damn thing to start. Looks like I will be doing some reading this week to make cold starts easier.

Good plan, something certainly isn't right. The block heater isn't supposed to be a requirement until you get to -10° F.

When I had my 6.0L I noticed it would start rough in cold when not plugged in AND running 15W40. Once I switched to 5W40 Rotella, it would start without being plugged in down to single digits. Never got colder than that at the time.
