Just my two cents.

Enjoy!

That's pretty close, the only thing is i'm going to have him cut it short in the front to leave about 1/2" of red so if i pull my tan bug deflector off it would look okay. I might just have him do the center part red.

Looks really nice Ben! I've always wanted an open car hauler, but it seems over the years I've had mostly enclosed trailers. With those heavy axles you should be able to pull just about anything.

Funny stuff Apocalypse, love the mods.

I think it would look pretty sharp if you had it done similar to these stripes.

Mmm Chevelle.

Can't go putting Chevy stripes on a Ford, c'mon now.

Not sure about the two tone of the red and beige...just paint her all red or all gold...but that's just my personal preference.

Have you considered changing the beige to black? Black bottom and black strip over the red would look awesome.

I've owned a bunch of Trans Ams over the years and I always wanted to do one that was red on the bottom and then black from the raised area on the hood all the way to the spoiler on the back.

Not this morning but the other day I switched my coolant filter to a new one, went with a non-chemical filter (not a coolant filter/conditioner) from NAPA they didn't have the 4069 in stock so went with the 4070. Seems happy again.

I think that's the best looking red excursion I've seen so far.

I'm not a fan to be honest of the picture where the majority of it is painted in the beige. I would support the blue and white hood example above though. Less is more maybe?

I'd pull it back more than just a 1/2". I think even with the starting point of the middle groove would be a great place to terminate the tan.

I do think the pin striping done similar to the old school Chevy stripes would really pull it together as well, despite my protest of Chevy stripes on a Ford

If you are going to stripe it why not do it like the Mustangs and carry it over to the roof and down the back.

Hey guys. I've been having a lot of issues over the last few weeks and they've gotten a lot better and a lot worse. The biggest part of my disability is being able to handle stress over "long" periods of time. after a few days I completely shut down and it's been really bad the last few nights. I've been extremely miserable the last few days and so caught up in what to do in buying a new X that I've had "feelings of hurting myself". I know this isn't really the time or place but I'm either going to go crazy settle back down. I'm not buying the red truck because of all the warnings from you guys and that is making me feel a lot better, but the more I look at other trucks the more I loose my sanity. Please please please don't think less of me. I hate even admitting this on here and to you guys but I honestly don't know what else to do. I'm going to take a few days off from the forum just to try to let my mind clear up. I'm planning on keeping the my truck for the next 6-8 months before even trying to start looking again. I don't know if I'm talking to much or to little but that's a nice readers digest version of what's going on right now. Please don't worry about me, this happens from time to time and after the last few years of dealing with this issue I obviously haven't done anything yet. I'll be back as soon as I feel I can but it's just not safe for me to get absorbed back into pining for a new truck. I love you guys and will miss you, stay safe.
