They are big diesel contenders but more for cars.
The diesels in the BMW's are amazing. Very powerful and frugal on the juice.
super smooth.

No, the gassers don't have 2 batteries we don't have those dumb glow plugs to warm up. We get actual spark to ignite the clean fuel to make power, not hot plug things to light dirty filthy tar fuel into low turning motor revs.

I just fueled her up. With a dollar off, I just paid the cheapest I have for diesel in a long, long time! $2.34 a gallon!

Also, I have all the plans made, and if all goes well, my Ex will be sporting cab lights (seven across) by then end of next Monday, yep one week from today!

I did the Hutch and Harpoon today. Found a destroyed pickup foot in the tank. Much better throttle response! I didn't expect it to be as big of a difference as it is!

Go edumacate yourself on glow plugs and diesels sir. These engines are so badass we just squeeze the fuel into exploding, the hot tips just help out for a few minutes when it's super cold outside. Then the beast under the hood gets warmed up and build cylinder heat and no mo glo plugs yo. Boomtown.

my v10 doesnt. Has some big canisters there where it should go. Thinking of pulling that and relocating it to put a second one

Yeah i've seen them before...but NOTHING like this...with NO light around for miles. I saw more stars then i could ever remember seeing. To see the Northern Lights dance across the sky and change colors. It was jaw dropping

I haven't done anything with the Ex, i'll probably drive it Wed.

So, I built this because of Apoc on another thread, but I figured a few more of you would see it hear. This is a not so great re-edit of the Matthew McConaughey Lincoln Commercials, but featuring footage of an Ex that I found on YouTube.

On a side note, there is not a lot of "good" video out there of our rigs. All inside dash shots or walk arounds... I guess that is something I need to work on.

Did the 2005+ front end today. Only one minor hiccup.

Minus all front end

So that minor hiccup? The top half of the bumper was supposed to be delivered today and was not

Crappy night time cell pic, will get a better one once I get the rest of my bumper and put it on.
