A compression check with 69k miles? well ok...lol. agreed, they better be buying. I might consider a compression check if it had like...269k...

Miles, for your Tire question...look at my pic above i'm betting your truck would come close to that look if you had 285's on it. Everyone around here pulls their big tires in winter and runs snow tires and some really lifted trucks look a little funny but its worth it.

Almost done loading my F-150 up an about to take off...miss the extra heated section of the Excursion cargo area. Had to be careful what i put back there so nothing froze that isn't okay to.

Expecting an uneventful trip.

you want a small grippy contact patch on ice roads in the winter, big wide tires dont get enough weight down to the ground for grip

It's just a "box 'o parts" until I put them on.

No, already have those.

Alright, the first of 4 boxes

6637 filter kit

Original box

Cut away a semi-circle: used an old CD I found in my tool box as a pattern to trace.

Remove a portion of the old box over the inner fender to allow the 6637 to sit snug

Kind of got the impression they wanted me to foot the bill for it, so I had to let them know that was out of the question. The tech quoted me $350 for an hour and a half to two hours. One of the 6.0 techs goes to my church and has helped me out before. I'll ask him what he can do afterhours, however I doubt he has access to some of the necessary stuff.
Are you sure they're not affiliated with that dealer?
It's always the buyer that pays to get a vehicle inspected, or a split bill at most. Sounds like they'll low ball you when it's all done because you'll be out a couple hundred bucks if it doesn't go through.

Finished the 6637 yesterday, did the AIH delete today, no pics.
I had to stop the engine mods to finish a bumper I was working on and get all the leaves up before it rains tomorrow.
Probably won't have time to finish the other projects until after T-day.

Went out today to fill up and I am quite impressed with the additional throttle response after the 6637 was installed. Krazee Matt keeps telling me about the turbo whine (negligible) but the whoosh from the wastegate is way more noticeable.

Thanks for asking.
