What did you do to the X today?
I've been working in Louisiana with my pipeline job for the last month while driving my f250, flying up to Co this Saturday and driving my Excursion, camper, wife and daughter back here (1200 miles) excited to see them to say the least. Also glad to have my "home" back after staying in the Super Eight all this time.
I can't wait! Microwave food for the last month and living in the Lake Charles ghetto sucks haha. At least I know the Ex won't let me down on the trip back knock on wood.

Yeah, south west LA, 20 miles from Texas, Lake Charles, be here until the next job is ready in Pennsylvania around the first of the year. That is supposed to be about a 2 year job. Guess i'll have to buy some winter clothes. We were in Florida 2 winters ago and Phoenix last winter, big change haha, gonna have to prep the camper a bit lol.
Next job site is in North West Pa., not far from Pittsburgh. At least it's closer to home in NC. Haven't been home since January except to fly home from Colorado to pick up my truck to drive here.
Feel like home is my camper now though, wherever that is. House is still rented out, but may get it back in spring, I think Zoie (our 12 yo) is ready to have a home base after 2 1/2 years on the road.

Centuries of breeding, years of training and it is next to impossible without dogs. You might be able to come across birds, you might get lucky and hit them, but it would very, very hard to find them after they have hit the ground.

Snagged a Bambi killer for the front of Stay Puft finally. Not as worried about idiots around here cutting me off then slamming on the brakes. Not that I was before either, but it adds a discouragement factor that was previously missing.
Even better was the price, guy just wanted it gone. He helped throw it on in his driveway and I left with my wallet measily $80 lighter, including the $20 I tossed him for his help and tools.
