no, my hubs worked perfectly until i had my ball joints replaced this spring. the nipples for the vacuum lines snapped off. so i replaced the nipples but they won't hold vacuum now. so locked they will be until next spring.
Hauled some cement block today leftover from a job, to my house to use when I build my detached garage. Hit my damn 5 MPG license plate, so now I need to get a new one. .oh well the old one will make a nice garage piece to hang up. Lol
That terrible looking black Rolls Royce has "Rap Star" written all over it, looks like the hood is plasti-dipped along with the mismatched rims, damned shame. The blue one Russ posted is a sweet ride, and Skip the Chrysler 300 looks like the Rolls, not the other way around.
Got some new shoes. Mastercraft Courser AXT in 285-75-16. Just a little rubbing on the mudflaps at full lock. Flaps are coming off in the morning. Also swapped out the puny wiper blades for 24" Bosch Icons. Bad news from the tire shop is I need right front upper and lower ball joints, and front brakes because the left front caliper pins are hanging up. :-( How bad are ball joints to do in the driveway?
I'm doing my ball joints now. Give yourself 6-8 hours a side the hardest part was getting the ball joints in and out. I started yesterday and got the drivers side done and the passenger side off and ball joints installed. I need to put it back together today. Buy the seals mine were in very bad shape. The tech folder has some good write ups. 2 tips that will save you some time
1 don't install the hub assembly with the abs sensor on the bottom
2 don't forget to install the dust shield
That black RR is just a little too pimped for my taste.
Here's the one I rented a couple months ago for a weekend. The drive and ride are amazing on these cars, fast too.
when i was a kid rolls royces were classy looking not like that one it looks like a chrysler 300... lame.
I'm on Skip's side on this one. That RR looks like any ol anonymous slug shaped car aside from the grill. Not so sure why they let the wind tunnel dictate the shape on a car like that, would the owner really care about an extra MPG?
Of course my opinion is so valuable, car companies across the world are clamoring for my services as lead designer, but I refuse them all.
