I heard my rear brakes squealing the other day, need to look at them. I hope I don't run into the same problem with calipers. I was working on my FIL's Blazer a few weeks ago and the rear caliper seized after replacing the pads. What a pain.
Yes it is...second time in 5 months now! This is what I was talking about in my earlier post. Look at the caliper in this pic. They were put on April 3 of this year. Wonder if all that corrosion may have something to do with the sticking or just coincidence?
Its just a V6 but does move okay. some how its getting 22mpg even with me driving it and being stuck in two crappy situations on I-5 today with disabled trucks right in the middle of the highway....wasted so much time in traffic today.
I bought a mustang GT and ended giving it my daughter, quick fun to drive car.

Probably not. That is not the moving parts. Replace the caliper, hose and slid pins and it shouldn't be an issue anymore.
This happened back in July when a Jeep traveling in the opposite direction with oversized tires spit a rock at me. County was doing road construction, found a deal on Craigslist and got it installed. The stickers are removed as well. Will need tint on everything soon though.

probably from it getting hot and condensation, makes um rust fast like headers, the everheated metal then cooling off condensating = rust. one way to tell a bad caliper or problem with that wheels brakes anyhow.
Spent the day at the track (Limerock). The Ex tows nicely with the new everything front end and steering and stops confidently with the new brakes and braided brake lines.
I removed the front axle and leaf springs getting ready for frame paint v codes and shocks. I'm going to to adjust the steering box while i have so much room. One of the weights fell off the front shaft so I'm going to pull it new joints balance and paint that too pics coming not sure how to do it from the phone
