Fixed the pics I think...
I fabbed up some Aluminum Diamond plate with thick rubber mudflaps. First time doing anything with either medium, so it looks a little DIY.

I had a rectangle of the metal so first I cut the maximum sizes out of the amount I had with my fine tooth wood blade on the table saw.

To get an idea of what cut in I wanted I just held it up to the rig and broke out my trusty sharpie pen.

I just clamped it to the top of my shop wood stove as a guide and again used a wood 1/4" round off bit on my router. I used the rounded off corners on my stove for a guide on the corners.

This is the finished product. I again used my trusty router for the rubber. That stank, but it was MUCH safer than using my table saw.

That should keep the majority of the dirt off my running boards and paint job

The best part us all I paid fur out if pocket was the stainless t-nuts and screws. The rubber was 10 years old from my gun smithing table and the diamond plate was a gift from my brother.

Ben - I am studless!! Haven't posted all day because I've been busy. Put my axles back together, reinstalled my hubs, warn lockouts, rotors and calipers. Cleaned up my head surfaces, installed the starter heat shield and finally finally finally 3 weeks into this project got a header (passenger side) installed. AMEN!

Brent - the snap rings fit perfectly on the Warns, all washers now installed in their proper location and order.

Thanks Gigger- onto the drivers side today, well once I track down some more size small latex gloves. My hands look like I just pulled them out of meat grinder and it's soooo hard to find gloves in a retail store in any size but L/XL which are worthless to me, they just fall off.

I've got the exact opposite "problem". I've got huge hands and find that XL gloves are generally too small. I can get two knuckles into each finger, but I run out of glove long before I run out of hand.

And don't get me started on the "one size fits all" myth.

Not sure who the one size fits all really fits. Too big for my wife, and too small for me.

I am a destroyer of latex gloves, almost never wear them unless I am working with some nasty adhesive or the like.
