Will do. The precursory check I did looked like the piston was still smooth. Ill double check it again before I reattach the boot.

Towed my travel trailer down to San Diego KOA today for the week vacation. Took I-15 south and boy was it HOT out. It reached 107 degrees aound 2 pm down in Norco. My AC is not up to par. We were dying. So was the dog in the back. Gotta get the system fixed!

Luckily, my trans temp peaked only at 203 degrees. Water temp peaked at 220. I am glad I didn't have to pull over to let it cool halfway there.

Nice and cool down here in SD. 85 degrees when we arrived at 5 pm.

Not today, but last night after work spent a few hours cleaning all the vacation dirt off/out of the X. She's back to where I like her!

You're right, I didn't!

I never did it because there were too many places close by to put air back in them.

there are also some great threads with the ViaAir system installed under the truck, on the frame rails with it all concealed and working on demand....awesome addition to inflate tires and toys!

I have jackstands, a hydraulic jack, blocks of wood (chocks), a small power inverter, enough tools to fix anything roadside, and an electric impact wrench, but I don't have a compressor....

Looks like I'll have to add one to the kit....

What you don't see in the pic above is the differential and the rear passenger side wheel buried. I picked up the phone to call the guys to pull me out and I guess they kinda figured because they were already on their way to come find me.
Hey TD.... Take some notes: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-the-sand.html LOL... just kiddin'

Hmm you weren't very low on fuel! lol. I regularly fill up at over $150 and our diesel has been around 3.60 a gallon.
