What did you do to the X today?
Was to dark to see it from a few feet away had to do all kinds of mods to that badge to get installed but finally got her on! Look pretty good if I do say so myself. Was going to install my new headlights but that big a** bumper was in the way and it's WAY to cold to listen it up to get the old ones out it will warm up soon.
Went for a drive in the snow to pick up Costco Christmas cards. Had a little bit of innocent GoPro fun, nothing crazy just squirrellin' around in front of my house.
This week in the PNW has been cold (and now snowy) and I've come to the clear realization that I shouldn't have put off fixing my heat in the Ex LOL.
Also got some early Christmas presents for myself =)
05-07 Headlights from 1AAuto
2x 48" amber/white combo LED strips for my running boards

I was shocked the plow truck started right up! I snapped some pics of Ol blue, mainly because I would like some input on the current fuel situation.
Then the current fuel situation. Now I go to the truck, uncap whatever fuel container I have in the box at that time, stick fuel lines in the tank, and go to work. When done plowing I pull the fuel lines out of the can and put the cap back on. I always situate the tank for least amount of slash out but I would like a better system.
Just sticking a marine hose end on the fuel lines and just plugging into the tank would be great! But that is only a single line fitting coming out of the tank, no return.
I thought about using one of those new junk cans as a sacrificial and drilling two holes in the top just so the lines fit tight in the holes.
Any other quick, easy, cheap ideas?

Can't help with fuel tank advice, but I'm curious how much less fuel it uses after the truck was lightened up so much ........
I drove the Ex a few days this week, I really missed my heated seats in the F-150. I really need to add some to the Excursion!
Replaced the heater shut off valve. The old one(factory original) was weeping just a bit out the top.
Replaced the air filter. It's been at least 6 years since I've done that. Filter minder might have been at 25% restricted. Could have probably gone 6 more years.
Almost to the 200K mark, and giving it some extra attention.

Head unit went in today. Didn't connect cameras yet though. Ended up not using any mounts at all due to the tight fit. No face plate either. The steering wheel control adapter also wasn't needed with this radio. The button pushes are programmable in the head unit itself. It looks like it was made for it.
