1) Business trip to Des Moines standing in the way of us getting to our cabin @ the lake in Pa.
New Bimini on this week, and a MPG check up the GSP. Happy with the results of both....old tub is looking pretty good for 46yo.
Now if we could just have the current gas prices hold fast just a few more weeks...

Too late. Missed that one. As I was reading your post, I remembered that my friends truck did that exact thing.

Last Friday- new water pump, left front hub and rear brake caliper seized up. I was on my way to pickup the water pump and have my cousin install it when the wheel problems happened. The hub failure damaged the rotor. $1,000 later....

212,000 miles. At least I know how to replace a hub on it now for when the other side goes. I got fleet pads for the brakes from Napa, see how that goes.

Oh, and NAPA gave me the wrong hub with coarse thread studs that we didn't discover until 6pm and I had to leave it overnight and drive an hour out of my way to get new lugnuts from dealership... calling Napa now to see what their manager is going to do for me.

New Rancho steering stabilizer, this made a remarkable difference in the Ex's tendency to wander down the road. Finally got the Air Lift 5000 lb airbags installed. What a pain in the ***. The bags themselves weren't terribly difficult to install, the problem was that the drivers side rear strike horn was misaligned. The bottom of the bags mount on the strike horn. So I had to cut off the old u bolts, of course they weren't coming off. New fabtech u bolts then the bags went right on.

Can anyone give me a hand with some Photoshop work? I'm trying to decide what to do with these Harley wheels. I'm thinking I want to paint them satin black and leave the recessed flutes chrome/polished to go along with the center caps and lugs. If anyone can help me I'd be very appreciative!!!

What do you pros use to clean wheels with? I'm cleaning up the Harley wheels I just got. They were pretty neglected. Lots of road grime in the inside. Thanks!!
